Guides go stale, and we get things wrong too. CoinVair's approach: when we find an error, we fix it — and we note it here, what changed and why, so you can hold us to what we said. This isn't for show. When it comes to money, "quietly editing" and "openly correcting" are two different attitudes.
If you see a step that's stale, a number that's off, or a screenshot that no longer matches, write to [email protected]. Once we verify it, we correct it and add it to this log.
2026-07-01 · Added official channels for handling a frozen card in the C2C piece
In "Your card got frozen buying USDT via C2C — now what?" and Common traps, we originally just said "contact your bank and the police" without giving readers a clear path to help. We've now added what to do with each of the three parties — your issuing bank, a local police report, and Binance official support — and stressed that unfreezing only goes through official channels, and that any "pay us to unfreeze it" offer is a second scam.
Why we changed it: saying "it can get frozen" without saying "here's what to do step by step once it is" is useless to a beginner who's already panicking.
2026-06-30 · Fixed the default-rate wording in the Fee Calculator
The Fee Calculator tool page originally wrote the default maker/taker rate as a single fixed number, which could make people think that was their account's actual rate. We've relabeled it as "an example based on Binance's standard spot tier," and added a note that your real rate varies with your VIP level, whether you pay fees in BNB, and the current promotion, so defer to the live rate in your own account.
Why we changed it: rates move, and hardcoding one number hands the reader an anchor that may be wrong.
2026-06-30 · Standardized how we phrase the fee discount
Early on, different pages phrased the trading-fee discount inconsistently — some said "20% off," some in a more absolute tone. We've standardized every mention across the site to "up to 20% off trading fees, with the exact rate per Binance's current promotion," and kept a disclosure note near every affiliate link.
Why we changed it: the discount is set by Binance's affiliate policy and can change — we can't let readers think it's a fixed number we guarantee.
We try to keep the content accurate, but for things that change — fees, promotions — defer to Binance's live page. Register with code BN771 for up to 20% off trading fees*.
